Turning the key to MAR the warning light on the dial shall flash only once and then go off. If with the ignition key at MAR the warning light stays on, this indicates a possible failure (see “The Fiat Code system” in the “Dashboard and controls” section).

If with the engine running the light flashes, this means that the car is not protected by the engine inhibitor warning light flashes, this means that the car is not protected by the engine inhibitor device (see “The Fiat Code system” in the “Dashboard and controls” section).
